Tim Bentley is a folk singer-songwriter with a unique style that blends classic and modern music.
Heavily influenced by songwriters of the 60's and 70's such as Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, and John Prine, Tim also draws upon older carriers of the folk and blues traditions such as Mississippi John Hurt, Skip James, The Carter Family, and Jimmie Rodgers. Tim builds upon this foundation by pulling in elements of other genres, inspired by such groups and artists as Funkadelic, David Bowie, Sun Ra, and Kendrick Lamar.
